This article is written to guide you on how to get a duplicate driver’s license.
Make sure you have the required documents. and do not forget to report the theft or loss at a police station.
Documents Required
- A Photocopy of the lost driver’s license or the ID number of the lost permit
- Certificate or Declaration of lost document.
- Proof of payment of the application fee.
- Completed application for the lost document (stamped)

Procedure
- Report the loss to the police and secure a police abstract or report. This enables you to get a certificate of loss or lost document.
- Next, obtain and duly fill a replacement application form from the issuing authority in Cameroon.
- Complete the form and prepare the necessary supporting documents, including a valid ID and an affidavit of loss. Attach the lost document and a photocopy of the lost license or the license ID number if you don’t have a photocopy.
- Schedule an appointment at the delegation of transport in your region.
- Then, pay the applicable fees, and submit your application for processing.
